ALCHEMY AWARD WINNERS AT RECORD-BREAKING LONDON EDGE.
The recent London Edge alternative fashion show was the most successful to date, with over 300 collections on display at the Olympia in London, making it the busiest and most popular so far. It also proved a highly successful show for Alchemy, who took a record number of orders over the weekend.
To cap it all, Alchemy won the London Edge Award for the best dressed stand for an inventive display, which eschewed conventional Gothic colour schemes in favour of a cobweb-cream theme, giving an elegant aura of Dickensian decay. Furniture from the studio's Elegy Brand was a particular attraction this year, soliciting a number of new commissions. Alchemy's many licensed products, such as the Sub Rosa urban fashion collection also proved immensely popular, while rock 'n' roll was well represented courtesy of the new official Alchemy guitar which went on public display in the UK for the first time (click here to see it in action).
